Paint Preparation Operative

Ashton Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Paint Preparation Operative for our busy client based in Ballynahinch .

Our client manufactures a wide range of Agricultural and Construction trailers and require someone to clean and prepare the trailers for painting.

Role : Paint Preparation Operative

Location : Ballynahinch

Duration: 12 weeks Temp to Perm

Rate of Pay : £12.71 - £14.00 per hour + 50p timekeeping bonus per hour

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation and inspection of trailers for painting including cleaning and sanding.

• Mixing primer and applying to trailers and parts.
• Maintenance of spray guns and other equipment.
• Power washing trailers.

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience working in an engineering environment
