Job Description
Head Bakery Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Bakery Chef to lead our bakery operations. This role requires a strong balance of creativity and operational excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality baked goods while continuously enhancing our bakery offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all daily operations of the bakery
- Develop innovative and high-quality bread, viennoiserie, and bakery product menus aligned with the brand identity
- Ensure consistency in product quality, presentation, and recipes
- Manage cost control, inventory, and purchasing processes
- Maintain and enforce food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Train, mentor, and manage the bakery team to achieve high performance
- Plan production efficiently to meet operational demands
- Stay updated with global bakery trends and incorporate them into product development
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Drive guest satisfaction through exceptional product quality and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in bakery production, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong portfolio showcasing product development and artisan baking skills
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Solid knowledge of bread-making techniques, fermentation processes, and bakery production
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
- Good command of English is preferred
