Head Bakery Chef

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Bakery Chef to lead our bakery operations. This role requires a strong balance of creativity and operational excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality baked goods while continuously enhancing our bakery offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all daily operations of the bakery
  • Develop innovative and high-quality bread, viennoiserie, and bakery product menus aligned with the brand identity
  • Ensure consistency in product quality, presentation, and recipes
  • Manage cost control, inventory, and purchasing processes
  • Maintain and enforce food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
  • Train, mentor, and manage the bakery team to achieve high performance
  • Plan production efficiently to meet operational demands
  • Stay updated with global bakery trends and incorporate them into product development
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Drive guest satisfaction through exceptional product quality and attention to detail

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in bakery production, preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing product development and artisan baking skills
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Solid knowledge of bread-making techniques, fermentation processes, and bakery production
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
  • Good command of English is preferred
