Food Technologist
34,000 - 40,000 per year + on-site parking
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

Do you want to join an award-winning food manufacturing company? Are you looking for an opportunity to work within the full manufacturing process, developing new recipes from kitchen concept through to large-scale production?
Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit a Food Technologist to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and improving existing recipes, developing innovative new concepts, and refreshing and optimising existing products. You will also trial new ingredients, support product launches, and monitor products post-launch to evaluate performance and customer feedback.
You'll working closely with the Commercial, Category, Sourcing, Production, and Technical Process teams, you will play a key role in supporting NPD projects and ensuring all product files and documentation are accurately maintained.

The Role
Ensuring all product files and documentation are accurately maintained
Supporting product trials from concept stage through to launch
Monitoring product performance and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives
The Candidate
Degree qualified, or equivalent, in Food Science or a related discipline
Minimum of 3 years' relevant industry experience
Auditing, HACCP, and Food Hygiene qualifications are not essential but would be highly desirable
