Job Description
Equifind is partnering with a private equity-backed SaaS business undergoing significant growth and transformation to recruit an Order-to-Cash Lead. This is a newly created leadership role offering the opportunity to modernise, optimise and scale the entire quote-to-cash function within a high-growth, technology-led organisation.
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for owning and transforming the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process, ensuring operational excellence across contract management, billing, collections, cash application and customer onboarding. The role will play a pivotal part in improving cash conversion, enhancing customer experience and leveraging technology, automation and AI to drive efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash and Order-to-Cash process across the business
- Map, review and optimise all O2C workflows, identifying opportunities to improve controls, efficiency and customer outcomes
- Drive process standardisation and scalability to support continued growth and future acquisitions
- Partner closely with Sales, Commercial Operations, Customer Success, Finance and Technology teams to ensure seamless process integration
- Lead billing, collections, revenue operations and cash management activities
- Develop KPI frameworks and reporting to monitor performance across the O2C lifecycle
- Drive automation initiatives, reducing manual intervention and improving data quality across systems
- Evaluate and implement AI-enabled solutions to enhance productivity, forecasting, collections and workflow management
- Support ERP, CRM and billing system integrations to create a connected and scalable operating model
- Build and develop a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement
Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership experience within Order-to-Cash, Revenue Operations, Shared Services or Finance Operations environments
- Strong B2B experience is essential, ideally gained within SaaS, subscription-based or recurring revenue business models
- Deep understanding of the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle, including contract management, billing, collections, cash application and revenue recognition impacts
- Demonstrable experience mapping, redesigning and optimising end-to-end processes
- Strong track record delivering automation, digital transformation and process improvement initiatives
- Experience leveraging AI, workflow automation tools and system integrations to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
- Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment
- Data-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
